What are the advantages of polyvinylpyrrolidone adhesive?

1.For agents that are sensitive to humidity and heat, using PVP ethanol solution as a binder can eliminate the influence of factors such as water and heat. For hydrophobic drugs, the aqueous solution can be uniformly wetted, and the surface of the drug particles can have affinity. Water is beneficial to increase the dissolution of the drug.

2.PVP can be added as a dry powder as a binder, and it can be used for wet granulation with a suitable solvent or as a dry binder for direct compression to improve the peeling phenomenon of hydrophobic drugs. Commonly used K30 and K25, the dosage of PVPK30 is generally 2%-5%.

Application:
