Aqueous solution of PVP-K90 is non-thixotropic in most cases and has a very short relaxation time. When the concentration is very large, there will be a certain structural viscosity; as the shear force is increased, the viscosity will decrease. Controlling the concentration of PVPK90 will bring many different application properties to PVPK90.

1.Cosmetics Industry

PVP-K Series used as dispersing agent, film forming agent, adding agent, lubricant and adhesive, also applied in hair care products such as spray glue, mousse, hair gel, styling liquid, fragrance liquid and hair perm and dyeing agent and skin care products such as lipstick, sunscreen and other cosmetics such as modifiers, deodorants, toothpaste,etc.

2.Pharmaceutical industry

PVP-K90 (pharmaceutical grade) is one of the new excipients for pharmaceutical synthesis and can be used as adhesive and sustained release agent of tablets and granules; a cosolvent and stabilizer for sustained-release agents and injections; a dispersant for glidants, liquid preparations and colorants; stabilizers for enzymes and heat-sensitive drugs;co-precipitating agent for insoluble drugs;delayed action agent for ophthalmic drugs; lubricants and coating film-forming agents, etc. Hundreds of drugs are supplemented by PVP.
