Physical Property：
Colorless liquid. The melting point is 24.6°C, boiling point 245℃, the refractive index 1.4870, miscible with water, alcohol, ether, chloroform, benzene, ethyl acetate, and carbon dioxide, but hardly soluble in petroleum ether. Density 1.12g/mLat25℃(lit.), steam density 2.9(vsair), storage condition 2-8℃.
Application：
2-Pyrrolidone is a polar solvent with a high boiling point, used as a solvent and intermediate in organic synthesis to manufacture nylon -4 and vinyl pyro alkyl ketone, mainly applied in synthetic resin, pesticides, polyols, ink, and iodine solvents, also as raw materials for the production of polyvinylpyrrolidone, nylon-4 and brain rehabilitation, used to produce veterinary drugs in conjunction with PVPK15/K17.
