Q:After the pva particles are dissolved, the pvp powder is added and dissolved at room temperature, and flakes are formed?
Why is it that after the solid is dissolved and the powder is added, and the powder is stirred at room temperature for a while, flakes of solid precipitate? What is this?

The most likely reason is that PVA is not completely dissolved or the mixing ratio/concentration exceeds the compatible range. It is recommended to optimize the dissolution conditions (heating PVA), gradually adjust the polymer ratio, and control the solution pH and ionic strength. If the problem persists, further analysis of the precipitate composition by infrared spectroscopy or microscopy is required.

Q: How long does it take to heat the PVA aqueous solution? I have heated it for four hours but there are still granular objects. Is it not completely dissolved yet?

A: First stir at room temperature for about half an hour, then stir in a water bath at 95℃ for about an hour and a half. I don't think it makes much difference whether the time is longer or shorter. Check your model. If it still doesn't dissolve after heating for an hour and a half, add more time.
